File System Details
Embedded NAS (eNAS) integrates the file-based storage capabilities of VNX arrays into storage systems running HYPERMAX OS 5977 or PowerMaxOS 5978. With this integrated storage solution, storage can be provisioned to eNAS data movers, which trigger the creation of storage pools in VNX. The users of Unisphere for VNX use the storage pools for file-level provisioning, for example, creating file systems, file shares.
